Where our data comes from
Every role on GTM Sales comes from a company's own careers site, through the public job-board feeds that applicant tracking systems publish for exactly this purpose.
Sources
- Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and Workable public job boards.
- We check each company's board twice a day, at about 6am and 2pm Toronto time.
- We read robots.txt before every source and skip any site that asks crawlers to stay out. SmartRecruiters' feeds are skipped for this reason.
- We never scrape LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor or any other job board.
What we keep
We keep go-to-market roles in Canada and the US: sales, sales enablement, revenue operations, GTM engineering, partnerships, and customer roles that carry a revenue target. A role leaves the board once it has been missing from the company's feed for two days.
What we pull out of each posting
An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) reads each posting and records the facts it states: pay, level, segment, sales motion, team, reporting line, experience asked for and the tools mentioned.
- Pay is shown only when the posting lists it. If it doesn't, we say "Pay not listed". We never estimate pay.
- "At target" totals are worked out from the posting's own base and bonus figures.
- Hourly pay is shown as hourly.
- The full description and the company's own title are always shown as the company wrote them.
Freshness labels
Early means we first saw the role in the last 48 hours. "Posted" dates come from the company's feed. We don't claim a role is missing from any other site, because we don't check other sites.
Internal-first means the posting itself mentions internal candidates. We show the company's own words and link to the original.
Applying
Apply always goes to the company's own posting. We don't collect applications.
